DCPS Summer Bridge for Grades 3
DC Public Schools (DCPS) will offer a special in-person program for students this summer. To help our students as they transition into the next school year, DCPS will hold a Summer Bridge program for Langley ES students entering grades 3.
Summer Bridge will take place in-person at schools for two weeks, as long as health conditions allow.
The dates and times, with lunch provided, are:
• Monday, August 10 to Thursday, August 13 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
• Monday, August 17 to Thursday, August 20 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Summer Bridge 2020 for grades 3, 6, and 9 will be an introduction to what school life will be like as DCPS moves to a hybrid learning model due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students will build relationships as they engage in a variety of academic and social-emotional learning activities designed to prepare them for success as they transition to the next grade. Students will be introduced to new health protocols, including social distancing, and masks will be provided daily and required at all times.

Students must be enrolled in their DCPS school for SY20-21 before signing up for Summer Bridge. Visit enrolldcps.dc.gov to complete that step. DCPS Summer Bridge is subject to change depending on public health conditions.
