Week 18 Message- Winter Break
It’s hard to believe winter break is here already! We have been busy at Langley this week, we hosted Dr. Alexander Chief of Elementary Schools and Cluster 2 Principals. We received glowing praise for our Social Emotional Development work here at Langley and our focus on instruction. We are so proud of our Langley teachers and staff!
We are also excited to announce that we will be having a Langley Beautification Day on Monday, January 15th to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. by engaging in a service project for our school. We will be hosting about 70 volunteers from Playworks and the Monumental Sports and Entertainment Foundation. We will be painting our school friendly colors, creating murals, and designing bulletins to shout out our amazing students. We also welcome parents and community members to come join the fun. The event will be from 10am-2pm. Hope you can make it!
Once we return the Langley Family Engagement team will host the WINTER WONDERLAND Family Night- a family oriented FUN NIGHT with carnival games, food, arts & crafts, and fun time with staff and other families on January 18th.
Upcoming Events- Save the Date!
