Kindergarten - 5th Grade
The K-5 learning at Langley builds upon the foundation set in early childhood. Students learn grade level content with their peers but also have time set aside for small group instruction where teachers can support students at their level. Literacy Students are immersed in their unit study for 6-8 weeks; students read fiction and nonfiction texts for each unit with their teacher and class to have in depth discussions. Examples include: The American Revolution, Inventions through Time, Flight, Animal Habitats, and Civil Rights. Literacy Block
