Langley offers two aftercare programs: DCPS Out of School Time and Flex Academies
Both programs run from 3:30p-6p and include snack, reading, games, creative activities, and playtime on the playground or in the gymnasium. Kindergarten through 5th grade students are offered homework assistance as well as the opportunity to enhance computer and reading skills through the blended learning programs Lexia, ST Math and iReady.
OSTP
OSTP's mission is to support the strategic goals of DCPS and the 21CCLC grand by providing affordable, safe, structured, and engaging academic, wellness, and enrichment programs open to all children. OSTP serves a maximum of 80 students at Langley from PK-5th grade. Enrollment for the following year opens on May 1st.
There is no OSTP after school programing on half days, holidays, parent-teacher conference days, cancelled days (aka "snow days") or teacher professional development days.

Flex Academies
Flex Academies mission is to provide a safe, secure environment with opportunities for children to move, socialize, and develop new skills. Hands-on curriculum is designed to support educational goals by reinforcing concepts taught in school.
Having Flex Academies as an additional provider allows Langley to guarantee before-care and aftercare for all families who need it. Before-care is available from 7:00-8:15 AM. Enrollment is available year round and Flex’s before-care and aftercare are available on a full-time, part-time, or drop-in basis. Flex will be offering full day programming at Langley on professional development days, parent/teacher conference days, and during February and Spring Break.

Langley’s after school enrichment opportunities:Flex Academies (Pre-K - 5th grade)
In addition to before care and aftercare Flex Academies also offers three 8-week after school sessions each year, such as dance, soccer, Spanish, music and yoga. Children do not have to be enrolled in the aftercare program to take advantage of after school enrichment; it is open to all Langley students. Boys Basketball (4th and 5th Grade) Girls Basketball (Ages 6-14) Co-ed Cheerleading (4th and 5th Grade) Flag football (4th and 5th Grade) Soccer - (4th and 5th Grade) T-ball - (Ages 3-6) Sports teams are through the District of Columbia Interscholastic Athletics Association (DCIAA) and coordinated by our Health and Physical Education Teacher, Ms Richelle James. The most accessible, guided, global robotics competition, helping students and teachers to build a better future together. The program is built around theme-based Challenges to engage children ages 9 to 16* in research, problem solving, coding, and engineering. The foundation of the program is the FIRST® Core Values, which emphasize teamwork, discovery, and innovation.
